Integrated Massage/ Ultimate Customized Massage” Some people have described My Massage as both massage and energy work, some say they are amazed at how I just seem to “know” where their problem areas are and just how deep I can comfortably go during deep tissue work. Others have mentioned that they were pleasantly surprised by the combination of Chinese acupressure and Thai Yoga stretches. Some recipients have mentioned that they really enjoyed my strong, yet gentle hands, and that they especially appreciated the sense of caring and strength, as well as the sense of love and security of My Massage. Some have enjoyed the long, deep, slow strokes, while others highlighted the light sensitivity and intuitive nature of my work. Many recipients have commented how they appreciated the feeling of completeness and connection of their whole being. All of these elements are part of My Massage because My Massage is customized to fit you. As of July 19, 2008 Cash Discount Tempting Tropical Trio a.k.a. “The Triple T” This awesome three in one treatment starts with your skin being saturated in 100% pure coconut butter then sprinkled with raw Turbinado Brown Sugar from Hawaii. This sugar/coconut butter mixture is used to gently exfoliate your entire body making your skin more receptive to touch and better able to soak in all of the benefits of the Noni Body Wrap which is to come. The scrub is followed by a cleansing Balinese full body shampoo to remove the sugar/coconut butter mixture. the Back a.k.a. “The Bacial” This treatment is like a “facial” for your back. You cannot always reach your own back to give it the attention it needs and deserves, so let me do it for you. It starts with an exfoliating scrub, followed by a cleansing shampoo and is concluded with a moisturizing back massage. Bath Ritual This treatment simulates a traditional Turkish Bath, a.k.a. a Hamam which is one of the ancient world’s most luxurious customs. First you are wrapped in a warm thermal body wrap with a pleasant heat source to create a sauna-like effect, allowing the gentle moist heat to relax you and soothe your nerves while your body sweats out toxins. This is followed by your therapist pouring warm water over you and exfoliating your body with course mitts which gently sloughs away dead skin cells. The exfoliating and cleansing process continues as you are lathered in rich aromatic soap foam and treated to a fabulous massage while being washed from head to toe as if you are a small child. In this system I guide you through a series of yoga postures and stretches while palming and thumbing along your body’s energy lines and pressure points. Thai Yoga Massage is traditionally practiced on a firm mat on the floor instead of on a table, this is instrumental in the effective use of the practitioner’s body weight. Five Gates Reflexology Based on an ancient Chinese therapy, reflexology
involves manipulation of specific reflex areas in the foot, hands, and
ears that correspond to other parts of the body. Sometimes referred to
as zone therapy, this bodywork involves application of pressure to these
reflex zones to stimulate body organs and relieve areas of congestion.
Similar to acupressure principles, reflexology works with the body’s
energy flow to stimulate self-healing and maintain balance in physical
function. In Five Gates
Reflexology I stimulate the reflex points of the feet, hands, ears and
scalp. This approach to reflexology is used to reduce pain, increase
relaxation, and stimulate circulation of blood, lymphatic fluids and

Stone Massage Stones of all shapes and sizes, ranging in temperature from 120° to 140° F, are used during Hot Stone massage. Warm stones encourage the exchange of blood and lymph and provide soothing heat for deep-tissue work while eliciting physical healing, mental relaxation, and a spiritual connection to earth energy. It is believed that this connection can be specific to the environment in which the stones were formed. Most of my stones were hand selected from a place of amazing natural beauty. They were selected off of the beach of Fox Island, Resurrection Bay Alaska. 120 minutes = $190 Used in China for more than two thousand years, gua sha means to scrape toxins. A method of promoting blood circulation and removing toxic heat, blood, and lymph from the body, gua sha involves scraping the skin with a flat tool to facilitate pain relief. Special oils and herbs are sometimes applied to the skin to open pores, increase deep cleansing, and improve circulation. You will not find very many people around who know much about this technique, I only know it because of my experience with and training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qigong. 60 minutes = $80 On-site/

Imagery Guided imagery is a relaxation system utilizing visualization and thought to improve one’s physical, mental, and emotional health. Often involving a process of listening to music or a person’s voice, the participant can take hold of imagery, symbols, and deep feelings to stimulate the body’s immune system, fight disease, and improve overall health. Remember that your body does not differentiate between a real of imagined event and will physically and chemically respond to either type of stimulus this makes guided imagery a very powerful tool for taking control of your health and wellbeing. Adding this to a massage service is like turning your session into a hypno-massage session. You can reach amazing depths of relaxation and meditation by adding this service. Add to any service = $20 ~ The relationship between you and your Massage Practitioner ~ A lot of the enjoyment and benefits achieved from a massage or body treatment are directly related to the openness, honesty, understanding and energy the recipient brings with them to the massage table. If you are guarded, anxious or unwilling to let go of your tension no amount of care given to you will help. It is very important to trust your massage practitioner and to maintain an open and healthy relationship with him or her. You should not feel uncomfortable or embarrassed for any reason, your massage practitioner is not there to judge you or give you reason to feel ashamed or uncomfortable, you should never feel afraid to voice your feelings, open communication is of key importance in getting what you want and need from your massage. Your safety, security and most of all your enjoyment are of the utmost importance and should not be compromised. For me, my massage is an energy exchange so it is just as important for me to feel comfortable with the person in my care as it is for the recipient of my massage to feel comfortable and secure with me. I may choose not to work with a client if I feel we are not a good fit for one another. |
