About
Anthony
“The
master of the art of living makes little distinction between his work and
his play, his labor and his leisure… his education and his recreation…
He hardly knows which is which.
He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does,
leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing.
To him, he is always doing both.”
-Chan/Zen text
Anthony’s
greatest desire professionally is to help others master the art of living.
He feels that the skilled touch and intuitive style of his massage
and bodywork along with his training as a Mind/Body Coach and Qigong
instructor will serve him and others well in this pursuit.
He is thankful for the unique opportunity he has been given to
master the art of living himself by serving others in a way that he loves.
His passion and commitment to his work is apparent to all who know
him.

While
having studied many western massage modalities Anthony finds that as a
Taoist and a martial artist he has been greatly influenced by the many
styles of massage, energywork and bodywork that originate in eastern
cultures. This interest in
the philosophies and practices of the east led him to fulfill a life long
dream of traveling to China and studying with masters.
While there he was allowed to study Qigong and Traditional Chinese
Medicine with Dr. Lu Guanjuan and Dr. Xu Hongtao at XiYuan Hospital in
Beijing and received certification from the China Academy of Traditional
Chinese Medicine. Later he
was blessed with the opportunity of studying with Grandmaster Wei Zhong
Foo who also certified him as an instructor of Qigong.
Through out the years Anthony has been blessed with many
opportunities to study with many other amazing teachers and masters and
wishes to express great gratitude to them all. |
| His
specialized training in eastern bodywork modalities such as Chinese
Medical Massage / TuiNa, Qigong Anmo, Chinese Meridian Therapy, GuaSha,
Thai Yoga Massage and a variety of other acupressure and energy treatment
techniques combined with his study of western modalities such as Swedish
Massage, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Sports Massage,
Esalen
and a variety of other techniques has allowed Anthony to create an
intuitively integrated style that is a unique fusion of east and west
intended to meet the individual needs of each unique and special client.
