Cost: $100.00 per participant

 

 

This class is designed for the CCW/CCH permit or endorsement holder with a desire to continue self-defense/concealment training.  It will focus on the marksmanship and gun handling skills necessary to survive a life-threatening encounter.

 

The class includes:

·        Safety review

·        Information on methods of carry

·        Placement of holsters, magazine & speed loader carriers

·        Fundamentals of combat shooting

·        Basic marksmanship skills and evaluation

·        Weapon presentation from concealment

·        Single and multiple threat shooting drills

·        Shooting from behind barricades

·        Position shooting

·        Optional man on man competition to end the day

 

 

Equipment required for this class:

 

·        Your CCW/CCH handgun. It must be a reliable handgun in good working condition and of a caliber adequate for self-defense (9mm or .38 special or more powerful).

·        A sturdy, stiff belt

·        Three magazines and belt mounted carriers for two magazines for semi-auto shooters. Three speed loaders for revolver shooters. Speed loaders can be put in a belt-mounted carrier or in the pocket of your concealment garment.

·        Strong side belt holster that carries the weapon in a muzzle down position. The holster should be designed for your weapon and should cover the trigger guard. YOU MAY NOT USE ANY PADDLE HOLSTER OR ANY PHOBIS HOLSTER. All holster requirements are for range safety reasons.

·        Eye and hearing protection

·        Ball cap or hat with a brim

·        Concealment garment (Jacket, vest, open front shirt)

·        250 – 350 rounds of reliable ammunition

 

Location:

 

·        The class will be held on a private range near 45 highway & Kisker Rd. It is north of Farley and South of 45 Spur. You will be given specific directions when you register. It is easy to find and access.

Note: There are no facilities on this range. There are facilities within a five-minute drive.  Bring what ever snacks or drinks you want with you. We will take an hour lunch brake that will enable you to get to area restaurants and other short breaks during the day.
